When you begin to make slides, go to the "File" drop-down menu and select "Page Setup". Under "Choose a Publication Layout" choose "Special Size". For "Choose a Publication Size" choose "Custom" and make the "Width" = 11.0", the "Height" = 7.33", and the "Orientation" = Landscape. We suggest you "Save As" a "Publisher 35mm Template" so you will have it for future use. (Also remember that Windows shows everything you create on a default of white paper, and since film is black when you begin, you need a black page to see what your image will really look like, so add a background.)
When you save your file in Publisher, go to the drop-down menu in the upper left of your screen; choose "File," then "Save As," and save the file as a .pub file. We have all the typefaces which came with Microsoft Publisher 98 and Publisher 2000, as well as with Windows, but not all of them are installed on our machine permanently, so tell us the fonts you used in your file to avoid substitutions.
