How to Order Slides from PhotoGraphic Specialties

HOW TO ORDER SLIDES FROM US

To order 35mm slides, you can send electronic files to us in one of four ways:

1. E-mail.

Send us an e-mail with an attached file (good for small files which are less than 6MB). If your software asks what type of file you want to send, set the file attachment type to "binary." You may "zip" or "stuff" the file, as smaller files transfer quicker. (If you need a zipping program, you can download a great one from WinZip.) Our address is orders@ezslides.com. Next, send us an electronic order form or print out a copy of our paper order form, fill in the necessary information, and fax the order to us at 215-256-1954. If you cannot fax it, we can also accept payment information over the phone, so you can call us at 1-800-378-4433. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

2. FTP.

Send the file directly to our ftp site (good for all files and required for those over 6MB). You may "zip" or "stuff" your files, as a smaller file transfers quicker. (If you need a zipping program, you can download a great one from WinZip.) We do not recommend sending multiple small files zipped or stuffed into one large file which is 60MB or more, as one error in a large file can cause the entire transfer to fail, and re-sending just one of a number of smaller files is preferable to resending the whole huge one. If you are new to ftp, here are instructions. Next, send us an electronic order form, or print out a copy of our paper order form, fill in the necessary information, and fax it to us at 215-256-1954. If you cannot fax it, we can also accept an order over the phone, so you can call us at 1-800-378-4433. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

3. HTTP.

Upload the file to a free uploading service such as X-Drive. X-Drive offers a free trial service, and after you send your file to them, you notify us by e-mail of the file name and location of the X-Drive address to use to download your file. Next, send us an electronic order form, or print out a copy of our paper order form, fill in the necessary information, and fax it to us at 215-256-1954. If you cannot fax it, we can also accept an order over the phone, so you can call us at 1-800-378-4433. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

4. Mail or Post.

Put your floppy disk (1.2mb, 1.44mb, 21mb Floptical), 100 or 250 MB Zip disk, CDR or CDRW disk in a 9x12" mailer as noted under the next section (good for all file sizes, and required for those over 100MB). If you want to send a Syquest 44, 88, or 200 mb cartridge, please use a small box. Next print out a copy of our paper order form, fill it out, and include it in the envelope or box. Please note that orders need to be prepaid. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, or checks drawn on a U.S. bank. (We will wait for a check to clear before sending your order.) After sealing the envelope or box, address it to:

You can send items such as 35mm slides, negatives, or prints to us by UPS, Federal Express, DHL, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail. We recommend Fedex for the safest, fastest method.

When your items don't include glass (some 35mm slide mounts do, for example), here is a good way of packing them: Get one of the free 9x12 inch mailing envelopes from one of the above companies. Place two sheets of corrugated cardboard inside, then place your flat items (slides go in plastic slide sheets) between the two 9x12 inch sheets of cardboard. Print out a copy of our order form, fill it out, and include it in the envelope. Please note that orders need to be prepaid.
