35mm slides, overhead transparencies

35mm SLIDE MOUNTING

We mount all our 35mm slides in high-quality, thin plastic gray and white Quickpoint 35mm slide mounts which will fit either 80 or 140 slide Kodak Carousel trays. The front side of these mounts is white for ease of marking with pencil or pen, while the rear is grey to minimize the internal reflections in a slide projector. These slide mounts hold the film securely with a bit of adhesive so that it will not move around, and they are much higher quality mounts than many other service bureaus use for slides. We also stock colored thin plastic mounts and certain Wess glass slide mounts (which only fit the 80 slide capacity trays). We do not offer cardboard mounts.

If you would like Wess slide mounts, custom imprinted mounts, or colored mounts, please contact us for prices. We can imprint numbers on your slides. We can collate your 35mm slide duplicates at $.05 each, as well as load them into Carousel or Ektagraphic slide trays. Add $2.50 for loading each 80 capacity tray and $3.50 for loading each 140 capacity tray. We can also supply you with the slide trays; please call for current prices. If you prefer slide sheets, we can load your slides into top-loading plastic slide sheets at $1.50 for each sheet supplied. Slides not loaded into trays or sheets will be delivered in plastic boxes. Extra boxes or sheets cost $.75 each at the time of your order.

We can custom-design your 35mm slide boxes to make your sets of slides standout from the crowd. Color labels, color boxes, plastic or cardboard boxes of different sizes are all available on special order.

Production of these items has ended. This page is for information only. Photographic Specialties is no longer producing slides and transparencies. I have been self-employed for 35 years, but looking forward to retirement since my wife died five years ago. With the decline of conventional photography and the recent recession, the availability of film and chemicals as well as the volume of work has declined to such an extent that it is no longer possible to have fresh chemicals to develop film. I hope that if you still need conventional slides and transparencies, you will be able to find someone who can produce them for you. Thank you for your orders over the years.
